This large, impressive piece was produced by the Scheibe Alsbach porcelain manufactury approximately 1890. The piece is brilliantly colored and contains incredible detail, including the gold handled sword, realistic shiny black boots in stirrups, and outspread fingers. This piece commemorates Napoleon's passage through the Alps, in the tradition of Attila the Hun. This piece belongs in a museum, but is now available for your home! One side of the reins is missing, but otherwise this item is in very good condition.
