This ballerina is draped in an incredible volume of porcelain "Dresden" lace that gives the piece a remarkable realistic appearance. Hand sculpted porcelain flowers are inset in the folds of her dress, as well as in her hair. She was produced by the Volkstedt Porcelain Manufactury.
