This teacup and saucer set is a lovely example of the fine craftsmanship of Carl Schumann, with the 'Schumann Dresden' pattern. The set is decorated in the Dresden style with colorful rococo flower prints. The rim is smooth and flowing with gold gilding, which makes a striking contrast to the bright rainbow of the delicate flora. The undersides of the set are stamped in blue with the Schumann crest below which is written, "Schumann, Dresden". It is then stamped again in blue: "Bavaria".
