This gravy boat with attatched base is a product of Carl Schumann, decorated with the china pattern 'Empress'. The piece is decorated in the Dresden style with colorful rococo flower prints. The rims are smooth and flowing with gold gilding, which makes a striking contrast to the bright rainbow of the delicate flora. The underside of the dish is stamped in black beneath the Shumann crest: "Schumann, Germany, Empress, Dresden Flowers".
