This is an antique Noritake dessert set with 1 round platter w/pierced handles and 6 bread and butter plates. Pictured is the plate. The platter is identical except is larger in diameter and has pierced handles on each side. A splendid coral border envelops the outer edge of each piece. The tasteful coral border is enclosed by a striking black band that contrasts with the creamy whiteness of the center of the plate. A heavenly bouquet of white and green flowers with tan leaves distinguishes the plate as well as adds a sublime air to the piece. The underside of the plates and platter are stamped in green: The letter "M" inside a wreath with "Noritake" and "Handpainted" above and below the wreath. Below all is "Made in Japan".
