This is an exquisite antique RS Germany china sauce bowl. The delicately scalloped edge of the bowl is done in breathtaking gold. As the gold spills from the edge into the center of the bowl, the gold gradually diffuses until only a hint of gold remains. Six violet flower garlands with greenery drape across the six larger scallops of the bowl. Stunning scroll work that appears to form butterflies flutter around the resplendent violet garlands. The underside of the sauce bowl is stamped in blue: "RS Germany" and in red: "Germany".
