This beautiful round shaped vegetable bowl with lid, is a lovely example of the fine workmanship of the famous porcelain manufacturer, (Erdmann Schlegelmilch) RS Prussia. The dramatic piece from its decorative knob down to it's scalloped foot, is truly lovely. It looks as though a mantle of gold has been laid upon the bowl and it's lid and strewn across it's magnificence embossed ferns colored with bright verdant shades serve as adornment along with meticulous pink roses that rival only those made by nature herself; and abounding with gold flourishes. This extraordinary dish would make an exquisite addition to any collection. The underside of the bowl is stamped with russet laurels, and in red writing:" RS Prussia" and again in red: "Handpainted".
