This exquisite serving bowl is a product of the famous porcelain manufacturer RS Prussia. It's intricately scalloped edge is further embellished by the addition of embossment along its edge. At some points this embossment serves as a border for splashes of colors ranging from deep blush to a vibrant green with floral designs laid upon it. Eventually the draping garlands of the embossment lead to eye to the focal point, the lush poppies painted in the center of the bowl. Rendered in soft pinks and reds these lovely flowers dance amnong smaller white flowers on their delicate yet sturdy stems. This beautiful piece is truly eyecatching, and a wonderful find for any collector. The underside of the bowl is stamped with green laurels, and in red writing:" RS Prussia".
