This beautiful sugar bowl with lid, is a lovely example of the workmanship of the famous porcelain manufacturer, (Erdmann Schlegelmilch) RS Prussia. From the exquisitely rendered knob on the apex of the lid to the golden rimmed scalloped edge this piece has been beautifully detailed. The bright white field of porcelain makes the perfect resting plate for the lovely pink roses with their pale green foliage and tawny accents. The dramatically detailed handles of the sugar bowl seem to be the final touch that really brings the dish together making it a lovely addition to any collection. The underside of the bowl is stamped with green laurels, and in red writing:" RS Prussia".
