This exquisite collectible plate made by Lenox, is a lovely natural scene encircled by an intricate gold and black rim. The entire rim of this dish is covered by an imosing gold ring, however the center portion of the ring has been overlayed by a black pattern that outlines flowers and their surrounding foliage against the gold. At the center of the plate two alert red foxes with thier tiny cubs seem to stand at attention within the wilderness. The surrounding natural scene depicts trees, shrubs and terrain, yet all of this stands in contrast with the vibrant coats of the two adult foxes. The attention to detail, and striking rim of this piece truly make it a charming addition to any collection. The underside of the dish is stamped in gold: "Red Foxes" and "L" surrounded by laurels with "Lenox 1974" underneath.
