This is an exquisite antique Nippon china gravyboat with attached underplate. This elegantly simple gravyboat is fashionably adorned with double gold banding that encircles the smooth edge of the underplate and the scalloped edge of the gravyboat. The underside of the gravyboat is stamped in red: "Handpainted" and in green: "Nippon".
