This is a beautiful figural piece produced by the renowned Thuringian porcelain factory of Volkstedt. These balerinas' dresses seem to flow like real lace around their graceful, timeless pose. Small delicate, hand-sculpted porcelain flowers adorn the folds of their dresses. Their shoes, corset, hair and detailed facial features are all hand painted. This piece is unique in that a small porcelain butterfly has lighted upon one of the figures' dress.
