This is a pair of lovely miniature compotes produced by the Von Schierholz porcelain factory in Germany. The stems and base are gold-gilt, rococo-stlye. Each base has putti figures seated upon it. The outer walls of the bowls are decorated with hand sculpted and painted porcelain flowers. The rims are reticulated with gold outlines. These are two excellent pieces that would add tremendous value to your Dresden china collection.
The pieces are in almost perfect condition, with the exception of a single chip on one of the flowers.
