This is an excellent piece featuring two lovers lounging on an idyllic patch of wildflowers. He appears to be ready to surprise her with a bunch of flowers he has collected in his hand, while she is distracted from the book lying in her lap. She is draped with luxurious folds of Dresden porcelain lace, and all of her features are handpainted and exquisitely detailed. This scene is set upon a white, gold-gilded, rococo-style base.
