This scene, featured upon a gold-gilt rococo base, features two lovers seated upon a couch. Cupid is at their side, resting upon an arm of the crimson couch, with a gold bow and arrow in his hands. The woman's dress is flowing with delicate white Dresden lace, inset with hand-sculpted hard paste porcelain flowers. The base is similarly adorned with sculpted flowers that further contribute to the amorous feel of this piece.
There is some damage to this piece, including some breakage on the woman's dress, and a crack across the base. Priced as is!
