This salad plate is decorated with the Haviland and Co. china pattern Schleiger 58-1. This lovely smooth edged piece is gracefully adorned with floral sprays that appear on the rim and that also spill in toward the center of the dish. Delicate clusters of tiny green flowers dip and curve around the surface of the dish, with varying verdant shades. From the palest yellow to the deepest green this dish is elegantly uncluttered, and it's delicate floral offerings hark back to spring eternal. The underside of the porcelain dish is stamped in green: "Haviland France" and again in red: "Haviland & Co. Limoges for JNO. Mc.CLELLAN & Co. Inc. 407 Main Street HOUSTON TEXAS"
