This artfully crafted coupe soup bowl is decorated with an unidentified antique Charles Field Haviland china pattern thought to be a variation of Schleiger 1328. Delicate garlands of dusty pink roses with green leaves and stems embellish the smooth edge of the piece. The center of the dish is exquisitely adorned with more rose garlands as well as a stately blue, green and russet colored peacock, which is perched amid lush grasses and overflowing blossoms. The underside of the coupe soup bowl is stamped in green: "GDA France" and in red: "Ch. Field Haviland Limoges".
