This beautifully crafted noncovered oval vegetable bowl is decorated with an unidentified antique Charles Field Haviland china pattern thought to be a variation of Schleiger 1328. The smooth edge is subtley embellished with line embossing that adds a uniqueness to this stunning piece. The dish is further adorned with petite clusters of dusty pink roses with vibrant greenery. The roses form small vines that bunch into clusters around the edge of the dish as well as mark its center. The piece is further accented with exotic birds. The birds' feathers consist of vivid yellows, blues, greens, purples and reds. Individual birds are interspersed between the flower clusters and a singular swooping bird is perched on a rose branch in the center of the dish. This lovely pattern adorns both the interior and exterior of the bowl. The underside of the oval noncovered oval vegetable bowl is stamped in green: "GDA France" and in red: "Ch. Field Haviland Limoges".
