This exquisite gravy boat with unattached underplate is decorated with an unidentified antique Charles Field Haviland china pattern. The smooth edge of the piece is classicly embellished with subtle curved line embossing. The piece is further adorned with generous flower bundles that accent the dish's edge. The flower bundles consist of baby blue and yellow flowers with deep rust leaves and stems. The underside of the gravy boat with unattached underplate is stamped in green: "CFH GDM France" and in red: "Ch. Field Haviland Limoges".
