This round soup tureen with lid is decorated with the Haviland & Co.china pattern Schleiger 448. This floral pattern consists of pink and blue flowers in a green leaf vine. The vine encircles the inner edge of the smooth gold trimmed tureen. The tureen has gold embossed handles and a delicate, narrow gold band encircling the lid and rim edges and the footed base. The underside of the tureen is stamped in green: "Haviland France" and in red: "Haviland & Co. Limoges".
