This sugar bowl with lid is decorated with an unlisted, yet handpainted antique Charles Field Haviland china pattern. Elegant gold banding encircles the smooth edge of the piece and is a lovely contrast to the pearly white of the porcelain. The piece is further embellished with a magenta and blue butterfly as well as black foliage with magenta and blue touches. The magenta and blue appear to be painted on and create a personalized feel for the piece. The sugar bowl is further adorned with salmon colored handles that are accented with gold trim. The underside of the sugar bowl with lid is stamped in green: "CFH".
