This is a set of antique Dresden dessert plates. The stunning transparent white porcelain plates are made by Rosenthal, Selb Bavaria and were hand painted at the Franziska Hirsch decorating studio during the time period 1893-1930. These exquisite plates are each a bit different from the other, and are adorned with vibrant bouquets of tangerine, indigo, magenta and canary flowers. These springtime bouquets are nestled between bright green leaves. The bouquets distinguish the smooth rim of the plate as well as its center. The rim is further accented with gold banding as well as elaborately regal gold scroll work. These immaculate pieces will add a touch of elegance to any table setting. All 8 plates are in perfect condition with no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or fading. The underside of the plates are stamped with a gold overglaze flower and in blue: "Dresden".
