This porcelain lace figurine was manufactured at the Oldest Volkstedt Porcelain Factory in Volkstedt, Germany post 1945. True to the Volkstedt Dresden lace style, this dancer's gown overflows with cascades of pink and ivory lace ruffles accented with purple and yellow flowers. Standing on a hand painted base, there are 2 sculpted yellow and purple rosettes and leaves below her. There is minimal damage to the lace at the rear of her dress along the bottom edge and in two tiny areas on her left side. Additional pictures are forthcoming for depiction here, but for now, are available upon request. This piece bears the blue backstamp of the crowned mark with the numbering 1762 below it, as depicted next to the Volkstedt category name at the page top.
