This porcelain gravy boat with its attatched base is decorated with the Haviland & Co. china pattern "Schleiger 278". The smooth edge is trimmed in gold, and along that edge it is lined with a rich goldenrod colored geometric pattern of arches and peaks. The porcelain dish maintains its uncluttered elegant look with the final embellishment of a thin black ring that occupies the center edge of the rim. The underside of the dish is stamped in green: "Haviland France" and in red: "Haviland & Co Limoges"
