This gravyboat with attached underplate is a yielding of Theodore Haviland New York, the pattern name being "Springtime". The smooth outer edge is trimmed with a thin band of gold; while the inner edge of the rim contains an identical gold ring. Betwixt the two is an elegant floral pattern with lush green and teal colored foliage, and gentle purple, yellow, blue and pink fauna which encircles the dish. This pattern is exaggerated on a larger scale in a beautiful cluster rendered in the very center of the piece, making it the focal point of Haviland's porcelain gardern. The underside of the dish is stamped in brown: "Theodore Haviland New York"encircled by a black cloud outline, in black:"Made in America", in brown: "Springtime"
