This is an antique Meissen teacup and saucer set. This fanciful set has gently scalloped edges with gold daub accents. The teacup and saucer have a thatched white embossing that creates a "basket" effect. Interspersed throughout the thatching are scroll work cameos filled with pink springtime flowers. This fetching piece would be the highlight of any collection. The underside of the teacup and saucer set is stamped with the blue Meissen double swords mark.
