This ballerina is draped in an incredible volume of porcelain "Dresden" lace that gives the piece a remarkable realistic appearance. Hand sculpted porcelain flowers are inset in the folds of her dress, as well as in her hair. She was produced by the Volkstedt porcelain manufactory. There is a small bit of damaged lace to the back of her dress, approx. a 1/2" x 1/2" area. The price has been reduced due to this damage.
